BARTOLOMEO CERIO FUMISTA

To each his stove

My job is to design and build stoves, fireplaces and wood-burning kitchens.

Each of my projects is unique and specific, just like your needs.

But how to orient yourself in a world that offers endless alternatives?

It is essential to identify the three large families that make up the fumisteria.

Heat up
quickly

If you love intense heat, sometimes pungent, obtained in a short time and suitable for heating large rooms or old buildings, then for you are indicated stoves and hot air fireplaces, fire engines that heat by convection.

TYPES :
-Fireplaces and stoves with hot air cast iron / metal insert
- Freestanding stoves in metal / cast iron / soapstone, wood-burning
- Pellet stoves
- Wood-burning kitchen stoves

With these types you need little space for installation, you have the advantage of the view of the fire;
the consumption of wood or pellets, however, can be high, with a medium heat retention capacity and a higher recharge frequency.

Retain heat
longer

If you prefer a diffused, more homogeneous and enveloping heat, then your stove or fireplace will be your firearm. The heating byradiation is similar to that given to us by the sun: it does not move the air dust, with great benefit for the respiratory tract.
And what about the pleasure of letting go on a bench next to a storage stove?

TYPES:
- Storage majolica stove
- Storage fireplace (with two doors)
- Default stove with prevailing vertical development with higher accumulation

With these types you need a medium-high amount of space.Weight is a significant factor.
The consumption of wood is the lowest among the commonly used stoves.
Management is reduced to one or two charges per day.
Although you do not directly see the flame continuously, you will have at home a piece of furniture designed especially for you.

Produce heat e
hot water

If in addition to the heat produced by your stove or your fireplace, you want to produce hot water (both sanitary and for heating), then I have the ideal solution for you.
This is a stove or fireplace with a boiler insert. Either with a calorific heat exchanger over water applied or with a boiler or in-built boiler integrated into the body of the boiler.

TYPES:
-Stove or fireplace with boiler insert
- Wood stove with boiler insert
- Default stove with boiler insert

With these types you need more space and the weight is significant.
Wood consumption is high, but is offset by the overall benefits of the plant.
Furthermore, this type allows you to choose in which percentage to exploit the heat produced.
